Built around the person
Make strong authentication easier to use.
FIDO2 uses public-key cryptography tied to the service you are signing into. It helps resist phishing by avoiding a shared password as the authentication secret.
ATKey adds fingerprint verification to supported sign-in flows, with biometric data kept on the authenticator. Your experience depends on the product, service, and security policy.
Passwordless sign-in requires support and configuration in your identity platform. Some workflows may still require a PIN or another recovery method.
A thoughtful rollout
Start with the right fit.
01. Check your environment
Identify the accounts, devices, browsers, and identity provider you need to support.
02. Pilot with a small group
Confirm enrollment, daily sign-in, and recovery before extending access to more users.
03. Prepare for everyday use
Document onboarding, backup authenticators, lost-key procedures, and offboarding.
Common questions
Before you choose a key.
Will ATKey work with every application?
No. Your service must support the relevant authentication method, and your organization may need to enable it. Verify your exact device, browser, application, and identity-provider combination before purchasing.
Does my fingerprint get sent to the website?
AuthenTrend states that biometric data stays on the authenticator. The supported service receives a cryptographic authentication response rather than your fingerprint.
What if a key is lost?
Use your service’s recovery process or a previously registered backup authenticator. Remove the lost key from your accounts and follow your organization’s access policies.
